Més que Surf is a non-profit association dedicated to implementing surfing as a complementary therapy to enhance the abilities of children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). The program they have developed is based on the benefits of practicing surfing, as well as the environment and the bond formed between children and instructors as a vehicle for positive change for children with ASD and other developmental disorders.
The association was founded in 2017 by a diverse group of psychologists and volunteer instructors who participated in a pilot test of therapeutic surfing. The results obtained were very beneficial and satisfactory for both the children and their families, as well as for the instructors. In this way, the project rightfully earned continuity.
